Bucence Children’s Centre
Bucence Children’s Centre is a transition centre with children arriving from some horrific circumstances. Our Centre is their home and through the loving guidance of the staff they learn communication skills, home domestic skills and receive counselling in order to prepare for their transition back to village life.
Throughout their Primary and Secondary Education, we can guide them into further education or Vocational Skills training programmes.

In this programme we provide school fees support and other basic needs for families in severe poverty. We encourage continued sponsorship for further education or vocational skills as these children progress into adulthood.

Vocational Training Success
These programmes build hope and an opportunity to build a successful life and break the poverty cycle. An example of this is FNKD’s Sewing and Tailoring Workshop. This provides young women with income earning skills and an ability to make clothing for their own families.
