Impactful Stories of Hope
FNKD’s immediate response to the famine in the Rift Valley in 2017 averted deaths from starvation.
We continue this programme annually by distributing hampers of rice, g-nuts, matoke, posho and a plump chicken to approximately 120 needy families – many recommended by the Probationary Service — bringing great relief and joy at a time when food is scarce.
This programme costs £42 per hamper.
Your Donations Help Us to Do More
We are grateful to all the donations we receive to enhance the outreach work we are able to do:
- Donating second hand football kits to schools and footballs and netballs.
- Giving out hand knitted and crocheted blankets to new mums in Rugarama Health Centre and also nurses’ uniforms.
- Donating premature baby clothes and nurses’ uniforms to Kisiizi hospital.
- Giving out toiletry packs to teachers.
- Distributing clothing, shoes, pencil cases, soap, and other basic needs to sponsored village children at their Centre Day.
- Providing for the neediest of needy children at Bucence Children’s Centre.
