FNKD has supported children in Uganda since 2006. Our Children’s Centre in Bucence village is a safe home for vulnerable children, providing them with shelter, food, care, and education.

Many of these children face cold nights without basic essentials, and something as small as a blanket can mean security, warmth and the feeling that someone, somewhere, cares. When you sponsor a child in Uganda, you help provide everyday essentials, emotional support and hope that lasts all year round.
The Children’s Centre depends entirely on donations to stay open. It has no reserves, no government funding and no luxury spending. Every penny goes towards basic survival and dignity for these children.
It costs £25 per child per week to keep the centre running, which is about £700 per week in total to cover food, accommodation, staff and utilities. Your sponsorship helps provide stability, care and hope for a safer, brighter future.
